Lunch that day was held in the Istanbul's Naqshbandi-Haqqani Zawiya. Eager students and followers greeted Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Mawlana Shaykh Hisham. | ![]() |

The mosque was so packed with students, family and well-wishers of Shaykh Nazim, that many had to pray the noon prayers, Salat al-Dhuhr, outside on the porch. | |

In the Zawiya kitchen huge pots are on the
fire as the cooks churn out massive amounts of delicious 'dervish'
food, which was then served to the gathered crowd.
And for after-dinner, tea is under preparation. |
