Last Day in Sri Lanka
| A Visit to
Ibrahimiyya Arabic College Built over 165 years ago, this College in Galle is the oldest Muslim Arabic College in Sri Lanka. It has over 200 students at any given time. Below, the asatidha met Mawlana Shaykh and escorted him down the street as the students sang Salawats. Inside, Mawlana spoke on the importance of Tasawwuf and traditional learning and against the Wahhabi innovations and their baseless opposition to Mawlid ash-Sharif. After the speech, the school presented a traditional Rifa'i dhikr and Salawats. Before his departure, Mawlana browsed the Arabic library, which consists of History, Tafsir, Hadith, Biography, Stories, Tasawwuf, and more. Listen to the Salawats - [.MP3 File]
