Maqam of Shaykh Uthman, chief waliAllah of Sri Lanka

Today Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Shaykh Hisham visited the Blessed Maqam of Shaykh Uthman,
whom Shaykh Nazim says is the chief waliAllah of Ceylon. After visiting the maqam, Mawlana gave Jumu'ah Khutbah to an estimated 2,500 people.

Following the service, the people poured into the streets to give him salaams and ask for dua. In the end, it took nearly an hour for the shaykhs to leave the mosque.

Dinner and Reception

On Friday evening, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim met with Former Speaker and current Member of Parliament M.H. Mohamed and Minister of Labor Alavi Moulana.

Around 12 students from Dar al-Mustafa, Hadramawt, Yemen, attended the event along with Shaykh Abu Bakr Mashhood. He spoke to them on uloom ad-Deen, and Allah's Divine Attributes in Arabic for about 25 minutes.

Needless to say, they were very impressed and followed their shaykh in baya'a with Mawlana.
