The celebrations continued
that weekend at a second event commemorating Shaykh Nazim's birthday according to the
solar calendar, April 21. Coincidentally, Mawlana Shaykh's birthday is the same as
that of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

Brother Mahmud Khan invited
the shaykhs to have dinner at his house that Saturday night. Shaykh Nazim gave a lengthy
talk after the feast.

First there was a wedding...
followed by baya`. At first only a few took initiation with the order, but soon after, the others followed, renewing their love and commitment to Islam and tariqat. |

| The night prayers are then performed behind Mawlana Shaykh Nazim in the massive tent erected beside Brother Mahmud's house. |

| The celebration was another opportunity for guests to enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Haqqani Royal Mawlid Ensemble. | ||

Shaykh Nazim graciously thanked his hosts and prepared to retire for the evening after a very eventful day while his host and the assembled guests and mureeds recite a farewell salawat. |  |
