This was truly a sad day for the tens of thousands of Muslims whose hearts were touched by the Naqshbandi shuyukh in Indonesia. Hundreds crowded the Firdaus
home to say goodbye, and many renewed or took baya` for the first time,
including Mr. Firdaus and Mrs. Hj. Amanda Suharnoko of MADIA &
Indonesia Conference for Religion and Peace. |

After a long round of lovely salawat by the Jakarta Haqqani Mawlid Ensemble, accompanied by daff and drums, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham, His Highness Raja Ashman, and the entire retinue prepared to depart. |
