ISCA Chairman Keynote Speaker at Celebration of Prophet Muhammad's (s) Birthday in Yuba City, California
Shaykh Kabbani stresses importance of observing this traditional celebration
YUBA CITY, CA - On Sunday, May 25, the Live Oak Islamic Center hosted a Milad an-Nabi commemoration in honor of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (s) at the nearby Islamic Center of Yuba City. Speakers included Shabir Husain Shah, Shaykh Ramzan Ashrafi, Shaykh Basheer Sialvi, Shaykh Bilal Ahmed, Sahykh Aulad Rasool and Shaykh Zubair Naqshbandi.
The keynote speaker at this auspicious event was ISCA Chairman Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani. Speaking on the Light of the Prophet, Shaykh Kabbani emphasized the importance of observing this Islamic holiday.
Imam Muhammad Amin Noman Mujaddadi organized the event, which drew nearly a thousand people from Live Oak, Woodland, Yuba City and Marysville in addition to attendees from as far away as San Jose and Fresno. View a slideshow of photographs from this event
