On Thursday, September 11, ISCA Chairman Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani traveled to Chicago for a four-day visit to the Windy City. The shaykh visited area mosques and met with local Muslim leaders to discuss the importance of reviving the traditional practices of Islamic spirituality, or tasawwuf.

 

During his stay, Shaykh Kabbani led dhikr services and delivered lectures at Kazi Center in Chicago and the Islamic Cultural Center in Northbrook. He was also the guest of honor at a number of smaller celebrations hosted by area Muslims.

Saturday, September 13
